These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, enquiries, website use, product support, warranty requests, and related services provided by FineVu Dashcam Australia.

By using our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About FineVu Dashcam Australia

FineVu Dashcam Australia supplies FineVu dash cameras, accessories, replacement parts, and related support within Australia.

We may also provide product information, warranty assistance, installation guidance, and referrals to installers where available.

2. Product Information

We aim to ensure all product descriptions, specifications, images, compatibility information, pricing, and availability are accurate.

However, product details may change without notice due to manufacturer updates, stock changes, discontinued models, or accessory availability.

Images are for illustration purposes only. Actual products, packaging, included accessories, and specifications may vary slightly.

3. Orders and Payments

All prices are listed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise.

Orders are confirmed once payment has been received and accepted.

We reserve the right to cancel or refund an order if:

  • the product is out of stock;
  • pricing or product information was listed incorrectly;
  • payment is not received or is reversed;
  • the order appears fraudulent or suspicious;
  • delivery details are incomplete or incorrect.

If an order is cancelled after payment, we will issue a refund to the original payment method where possible.

4. Shipping and Delivery

We ship orders within Australia using available courier or postal services.

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on your location, courier delays, public holidays, stock availability, or events outside our control.

Once an order has been dispatched, risk in the goods passes to the customer to the extent permitted by law. However, this does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information.

5. Installation

Dash camera installation should be performed carefully and in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s requirements.

Where installation services are offered or referred, installation pricing, timing, and availability may vary depending on vehicle type, location, wiring requirements, and installer availability.

FineVu Dashcam Australia is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, modification, unsuitable wiring, third-party installer error, or failure to follow product instructions.

For hardwire or parking mode installation, we recommend using a qualified auto electrician or experienced dash camera installer.

6. Product Use and Customer Responsibility

Dash cameras are designed to assist with recording driving and parking incidents. They do not guarantee that every event, accident, impact, motion, or issue will be recorded.

Recording performance may be affected by:

  • power supply issues;
  • incorrect installation;
  • unsuitable or faulty memory cards;
  • overwritten footage;
  • parking mode settings;
  • vehicle battery condition;
  • impact sensitivity settings;
  • firmware issues;
  • environmental conditions;
  • user settings or accidental deletion.

Customers are responsible for checking that the dash camera is operating correctly and that footage is being recorded properly.

Important footage should be backed up as soon as possible.

7. Memory Cards

Dash cameras require suitable high-endurance microSD cards.

Using unsuitable, low-quality, counterfeit, damaged, or heavily worn memory cards may cause recording failure, corrupted files, freezing, restarting, or missing footage.

We recommend regularly formatting the memory card using the dash camera or FineVu app, and replacing memory cards when they become worn or unreliable.

8. Returns, Refunds and Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy if a product or service fails to meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. The remedy depends on the circumstances and whether the failure is major or minor.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

A refund, repair, or replacement may not be available where the issue was caused by:

  • misuse or abuse;
  • incorrect installation;
  • accident or physical damage;
  • water damage;
  • unauthorised modification;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • use of incompatible accessories;
  • use of unsuitable memory cards;
  • failure to follow instructions;
  • damage caused by the vehicle or power supply.

9. Warranty

FineVu products may include a manufacturer or supplier warranty in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty periods may vary depending on the product type. Unless otherwise stated:

  • FineVu dash cameras: 3-year warranty
  • FineVu accessories and memory cards: 24-month warranty

Warranty cover applies to manufacturing defects under normal use.

Warranty does not cover damage or faults caused by misuse, incorrect installation, accidents, unauthorised repairs, incompatible accessories, unsuitable SD cards, physical damage, water damage, or normal wear and tear.

To make a warranty claim, customers may be required to provide:

  • proof of purchase;
  • product model number;
  • serial number;
  • description of the issue;
  • photos or videos showing the issue;
  • troubleshooting results;
  • return of the product for inspection.

A product must usually be inspected before a warranty replacement or repair is approved.

Warranties against defects must be written clearly and must not override Australian Consumer Law rights.

If no fault is found, or the issue is not covered by warranty, the customer may be responsible for return shipping or inspection costs.

If an item is out of stock or on backorder, we may contact you with an estimated availability date, alternative product option, or refund option.

Estimated arrival dates are not guaranteed and may change due to supplier, freight, customs, or manufacturing delays.

13. Resellers, Installers and Trade Customers

Trade pricing, reseller supply, installer support, or business account access may be offered at our discretion.

We reserve the right to approve, reject, suspend, or close trade accounts.

Trade pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and warranty handling may differ from retail customer terms.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all trade orders remain subject to these Terms & Conditions.
