For remote Cloud functions, the dashcam requires access to a suitable internet connection, such as an in-car Wi-Fi hotspot or other compatible data connection.
Please note: the dashcam’s normal Wi-Fi connection to your smartphone is primarily used for direct app access and does not by itself provide the ongoing internet connection required for remote Cloud functions.

Parking Mode
The FineVu GX35 Cloud supports parking mode when correctly installed with a compatible FineVu hardwire cable.
Parking mode can assist with monitoring your vehicle while parked at home, at work, in shopping centres, on the street or overnight.
For best parking mode performance, professional hardwire installation is recommended.
Hardwire cable may be sold separately depending on the package.
FineVu App & Cloud Connection
The GX35 Cloud supports smartphone connectivity for viewing recorded videos, downloading footage and changing supported dashcam settings.
Direct Wi-Fi connection is used when accessing the dashcam locally from your smartphone. FineVu Cloud remote functions require the appropriate Cloud setup and a suitable internet/data connection for the dashcam.

Installation Notes

For standard driving recording, the dashcam can be powered using the included vehicle power cable.
For parking mode, a compatible FineVu hardwire cable is required and must be connected to the vehicle fuse box.
